    Carlos Ruiz was just here this morning.  Company said they had detected a disconnect in one of our components and thought it might be a bad battery.  We made an appointment to have it checked and when Carlos was here he said the main panel was very dim and I said it had always been that way since ADT installed it.  He said he would be back with a new one as it should be as clear as our TV.  We hope he will return as he was very friendly and professional and would like to have a brighter main panel.  He also   changed the component on the kitchen door which we had been having problems with connection even when we were home.

    First, guardian sub-contracts an installation company "skyline" who provides terrible service.. Skyline are the people that talked me into switching from ADT to guardian, biggest regret.   Skyline promised cameras which they never installed..  When I took it up with Guardian, they said to take it up with Skyline.. Fast forward to now, I wanted to really cancel my contract, but they said it was going to be $1200..  They also specified that Skyline transferred the contract over to Guardian without notice, as I they state in small print on their contract..   I had no choice, but to continue staying with Guardian.. They said they'd upgrade my system and give me interior cameras, but i had to extend my contract..  I had 2 years left so extending was pretty much same misfortune to me..  When they sent their skyline people this time around, he made unnecessary holes in my walls, he went through two wall into my bathroom (which has special moisture sheet rock which now has a hole. Also they did not install a 2 way additional panel for upstairs as they promised and included on their contract..   I called Guardian and had to wait a few days before they can send someone out to finish the installation, again they will send amateurs from skyline..   Also, yesterday, we had a false motion detector alarm go off, in which costs us money when there is a false alarm..   I called Guardian, let them know that i have interior camera footage in which I thoroughly reviewed and there was absolutely no movement at the time alarm went off..  All they said was they would send out a technician, which is something Guardian also charges for, but being that their equipment installed at my home is still under warranty, they were able to waive that service fee..  This is just the 1st week with new system..   I don't even feel safe for my family and I at night because the system i have is not dependable..  They make their equipment sound amazing, but once you have it hooked up you find out the technology is really bad..   I have sensors they installed that only detect if the window is opened..  I need sensors that go off both when window is open and when glass is broken..    A burglar/home intruder can easily break my window and go through it, bypassing the motion detectors when they walk in because when we "ARM stay" it bypasses all the motion detectors so we ourselves do not trigger those sensors..   I go to sleep at night, downstairs on my couch while my family sleeps upstairs because i just don't trust Guardian's security system..  Please, if you value your family and home, get a different company.  It sucks to have a security system and not feel safe in your own home..

      Omg yes all what you said is correct they promise everything and at the end is just nonsense. Please people don’t get this horrible liers bad service I still have quite a few years because they trap you with their contract. God will take care of it. I got rob at my house and the alarm never went on and never got a call or the cops. Now I have to pay for cameras. I’ve lost a lot of $$$$ with them plus what got rob. :(

    Did not get everything the contract said I'd get(2motion detectors). Called the installer. He said he'd have it in by the next Monday. Several weeks later still not done. Guardian called and asked if I was satisfied. I answered in the negative. They told me I was supposed to talk to the company who installed it. A couple more weeks and I call to cancel at Guardian they said I had to talk to the other company. Called the other company and was told I had to talk to Guardian. When I told them that Guardian just sent me to them I was told I needed to send them a copy of my contract because their copy didn't reflect the 2 motion detectors. Then they told me to cancel the contract would cost me $1200. I told them they didn't do their part of the contract. So as far as I was concerned it was nullified. Today the installer wanted to install the 2nd motion detector. He told me he should have gotten back and followed up. Then he said his employee had tried to call and got no answer.  I told him he could have called again or left a message.  He told me he was trying to finish it now but after talking to Guardian and Skyline I was done. I am not happy with this service and would not recommend it to anyone.

    Buyer beware, this company is a rip off check your contract before signing it. I thought I only had a 2year agreement and it turns out that I have a 5-year agreement plan.  I tried cutting the service off and the Rep tell me there will be an early termination of one thousand dollars($1000.00) for the remaining Thirty-six months. Never sign an agreement for more than two years, it not worth the cheap equipment that is installed. So, What it has Wi-Fi capabilities.

      I wouldn't take the time to write a review about a company. You obviously didn't check your contract. If you  want to write a bad review about a company I will tell you about my experience with -ADT-. Guardian was very respectful in my home. I can honestly say they hooked me up & if I need anything my rep is always one phone call away. It sounds to me like you must've just had a bad representative. As we are now every tree has a few rotten apples.
    I will never do business with Guardian Protection Services.  My mother is 1 year into a 5 year contract.  Last month, she suffered some serious health issues and we had to move her into a rest home.  I spoke with Guardian to try to terminate the contract given the very unforeseen medical issues but they refused to allow her to terminate the contract and they are requiring a $700 early termination fee (which she can't afford).  There was absolutely no flexibility in their stance, this was very disappointing.  Buyer be VERY AWARE!!

    BUYER BEWARE!!! I signed up with Guardian after seeing some good reviews and being told I had qualified for a ‘free’ installation and payments of $42.99/mo. The technician came out, was friendly, and installed everything and left. We sold the house 6 months later and moved into a home with an existing security system. I called and spoke to a representative named Chris who informed me that I had signed a 5 year agreement. He sent me a copy of the document which they are now doing through docusign. I looked through the document and realized that while I had signed one part of the document to verify that installation was complete, that my initials all over the rest of the document had been forged. I have sent emails, spoken to Chris and another representative named Matt and thought that the contract was being canceled. However, I continue to get calls from the company. I called again today and spoke to a representative named William. I was told that in order to cancel service that I needed to contact the police, but that even after I do that, that Guardian are not ‘signature comparers’ and that I am still responsible for a contract that I did not agree to. At this point I would never do business with this shady company. It shouldn’t have taken this much time and energy to cancel a contract that was clearly forged by someone in their employ. Beware….DO NOT do business with Guardian Protection Services!

    I was misquoted information from the sales person including there was a 10 day trial period when in fact it was only 3 days. I was also told that no money would be taken out of my account until grace period had expired but I got a notification from my bank that they took out the money early on the second day after signing up! I was also told that early termination of contract would result in a $400 fee when in fact it was actually $750! Due to misrepresentation, I luckily cancelled the services with in the 3 day grace period. I was told that as soon as the equipment was removed that they would refund my money. Three days after the equipment was removed in still hadn’t received my refund so I called to find out what was taking so long with the refund and was told that no one has bothered to follow thru and process it to the refund department! So… if I had not have called, there is no telling when I might have received my refund. Also you do not get it immediately after returning the equipment as I was told, it takes up to 10 days to get it! So let me get this straight : the company has no problem withdrawing money from my bank account within one day but will take up to 10 days to put it back into my account. Hmmmm 😐 I will say on the positive that the two guys that installed the system and took it out were very conscious and friendly! Unfortunately this company did not perform well in my eyes so I will not be recommending them to anyone I know!
